Job overview
We are looking for a highly talented, motivated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to work with teaching staff to support the needs of our students, ensuring that they reach their potential.
The View School is an Independent Special School providing education for young people with Social Emotional and Mental health difficulties, including a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Pathological Demand Avoidance & Post Traumatic Stress Disorder during Secondary and Post 16 phases of education.
Recently judged “Good” by Ofsted, our aim is to provide our students with the confidence and resilience to meet the challenges that act as barriers to their education and impact upon successful outcomes in their everyday lives.
The successful candidate will be a valuable part of our school community, able to work as part of our enthusiastic and friendly team, supporting students in all areas of their development and school life.
