SEN Teaching Assistant

KIS is recruiting a SEN teaching assistant who has a keen interest in working with students with mild to moderate special educational needs in a SEN classroom setting. 

The specialist Teaching Assistant must:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education, SEN or a relevant area)
• Have at least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Have a good standard of English
• Have experience managing challenging student behaviour
• Have the flexibility and confidence to support learners with a range of learning differences in both Primary and Secondary settings
• Have excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure

*Successful candidates will be required to work with young people across all ages in the SEN Programme both individually and in small groups.
