Job overview
We are looking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, reliable and flexible One to One Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage One or Key Stage Two. 27.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. 8.30 am - Midday and 1.00 - 3.00 pm.
The successful candidate will:
- have the resilience and desire to support a child with significant learning difficulties.
-assist the pupil in implementing their personal learning programmes during the school day.
- provide personal assistance to identified pupils in physical/practical activities e.g. physical education, cookery, school visits, therapeutic treatments organised by the school etc.
- be a team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humour
- be a reflective person, who is able to show initiative to enhance children’s learning
- firmly believe that every child can be successful in learning
