Job overview
TLC is an independent day special school for children and young people with SEMH, ASD and associated learning and communication difficulties. It is part of Melrose Education limited.
We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of teaching students with additional needs and experience of preparing pupils for a range of qualifications. You must be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and have the ability to focus upon the progress of pupils on a whole school basis. Excellent classroom management skills are essential, and you will be able to demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate students. Subjects we are looking to be taught include all Humanities (geography, history, RE) and/or vocational subjects.
Previous experience of SEND would be an advantage.
You will be working with pupils who are enthusiastic and keen to learn and a dedicated and supportive staff team. This is a very unique and nurturing school, and we would strongly encourage applicants to visit.
