Based in the heart of Chester City Centre, Abbey School is an Independent Special School for young people with autism aged 4-19 years whom may have additional learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge.

We are seeking a positive and diligent individual with a strong knowledge of cleaning practices and a commitment to maintaining excellent standards of hygiene. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is dedicated to ensuring a clean and safe environment for our school community.

Position Details:

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 15:00
  • Term Time Only
  • Start Date: As soon as possible


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks across all areas of the school site
  • Clean and sanitize toilets, the hygiene room, and the medical room
  • Monitor and report low stock of cleaning supplies
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, quality standards, and general procedures
  • Adhere to school policies and regulations
