Our growing Federation is looking for two qualified Senior HR business partners reporting to the Chief HR Officer and overseeing all human resources operations in one of our locations, either Hackney or Thurrock. Our ideal candidates will have solid experience working in an HR Generalist role, ideally in a multisite organisation. They will have a strong track record of business partnering with senior leaders, line managers and staff. They will be confident communicating with the Federation Leadership Team and with senior managers to advise, draw insights, express new ideas and suggest solutions, always considering what is best for our people, our budget and our Federation culture.

They will act as a deputy to the CHRO from time to time and whilst we recognise that candidates will come to us with particular areas of deep expertise, they should be able to act as a holistic adviser on all aspects of employee relations, organisational development and be experienced supporting an organisation during times of change.

The Mossbourne Federation

The Mossbourne Federation is a thriving network of Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form academies in the Southeast, providing children aged 4 – 18 with an outstanding education. We deliver the highest quality of teaching & learning across a broad curriculum, underpinned by high expectations of every student and by our Federation values of Excellence, No Excuses, & Unity. Our staff strive towards a common goal: being the best we can be, ensuring every student, every teacher and every member of staff fulfils their potential. We value continuous improvement, are always learning, and always looking for a better way to do things. We are a supportive family that shares experiences, knowledge, and ideas in an environment that welcomes input and challenge.

Headquartered within the metropolitan borough of Hackney, all Mossbourne Federation academies are near London Overground stations or mainline stations, facilitating a no-fuss commute for colleagues living in and around the London area. London’s fashionable ‘East and West Ends’, are a short distance away.

The Mossbourne Federation is actively seeking to increase the proportion of our workforce who come from diverse backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from people of Black, Asian, and other minority ethnic descent. Injustice, discrimination, and intolerance go against the core tenets of the Mossbourne ethos. We actively reject discrimination in our academies through continuous review of our working policies & practices across the federation, including at board level. We are committed to developing and supporting inclusivity, diversity, and anti-racism in every facet of what we do.

The Mossbourne Ethos

Through upholding these core values, Mossbourne schools are without exception, exceptional.
