Uxbridge College is a highly successful Further Education College situated in West London. 

The College has a leading edge network delivering a wide range of IT Services to over 8,500 end users, including staff and students.  The network infrastructure is based around Cisco systems with a mixed server environment of Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012.  We are now seeking to appoint a Senior IT Services Engineer to join our busy IT Services Department. 

You will have gained varied hands-on experience of providing end user desktop support within an IT Department, be experienced in supporting Microsoft Windows and desktop applications and will have excellent knowledge of Windows Active Directory Administration. You will also have experience managing WDS, WSUS and Backups (preferably BackupExec).

You will have a good working knowledge of Group Policy, as well as other centralised desktop management experience. You will have at least a basic understanding of networking, firewalls, wireless, DNS, DHCP, with a thirst for technical development.  Good communication and excellent customer service skills are essential.
