Actual Salary: £14,631.08

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only, Part-Time

Working Hours: 21.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

The librarian’s position is a dynamic and integral role at the heart of the college. You will work with some amazing and diverse people, both staff and students. Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with other library leaders, be responsible for management, upkeep and development of all library resources, both physical and digital
  • Liaise with curriculum areas to support staff and students
  • Lead on innovation within the department
  • Support validation of new and existing courses
  • Support the circulation desk
  • Facilitate research and other study skills sessions for learners of all abilities

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Professional qualification in library/information services
  • Other relevant qualifications at level 4 and above
  • Experience of working in an educational setting
  • Team working and leadership skills
  • Excellent digital skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
