The role involves developing and delivering the curriculum for the Senior School Music department. The teacher is responsible for ensuring that students are meeting academic standards and achieving their learning goals. Overall, the purpose of a teacher is to ensure that the department is providing high-quality instruction, meeting academic standards, and contributing to the overall success of the school or educational institution.

Westbourne School was founded in 1885 as a boys’ preparatory school. Girls joined In 1997, and a Senior School was opened in 2001.
