Senior Science Technician

We are looking to appoint a knowledgeable, hardworking, and passionate Senior Science Technician to work in our busy, highly successful Science department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a committed team of science technicians to ensure timely and effective technician support to all teachers in the Science department. A commitment to ensuring an excellent education for all young people alongside a thorough understanding of health and safety is essential. The Opportunity

• Support the delivery of the Science curriculum through the provision of timely and effective preparation of scientific materials and equipment for all lessons.  
• Work closely alongside teachers during lessons to aid the progress of students.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment.

The ideal candidate

• Have a good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English Language     
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, students and parents  
• Be a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution focused attitude
