The Role
The Corsham School Academy Group seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable Senior Teaching Assistant who is experienced in working with young people across various key stages. The aim of the role is to provide phonics interventions across the whole school, working alongside, subject teachers and class tutors, together with the Literacy Lead to ensure appropriate differentiation and learning strategies are in place for all students.
Amongst other skills and abilities, the successful candidate will:
- Be able to work positively with others.
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Be committed to the safeguarding of students.
- Have the relevant training and recent experience working with young people in a learning environment.
- Have a commitment to motivate, inspire and have high expectations of students.
