Job overview
The Samworth Church Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced casual one to one/small group tutor.
The successful applicant will be expected to prepare, deliver and evaluate work with individual or small groups of students within the core subjects (English, Maths and Science) in order to help prepare students for further studies or to help with their transition back to mainstream education. This work is expected to take place largely in students’ homes.
The Samworth Church Academy opened in September 2008 and enjoys 21st century facilities, highly motivated and professionally developed staffing, which allows us to focus on our fantastic students with a mission to be 'the best we can be'.

Applicants should be educated to GCSE English and Maths to Grade C or above (Grade 4 minimum) and have suitable experience of a higher level teaching assistant.

The position is term time only (casual/zero hours) with the rate of pay being £25 per hour.
