Job overview
Lincroft Academy is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager responsible for the facilities management of the Academy and eventually two other primary schools. This is a new position where you will be in charge of the fabric and grounds of the school including (but not limited to) fire safety and security, the monitoring of contracts and contractors, lettings, monitoring routine maintenance and refurbishment, and minor repairs. You will also be responsible for the line management of the Site Agents based at Lincroft Academy.
It is an exciting time for Lincroft with a number of building and expansion projects in the pipeline. In order to be successful, you will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills. You will have experience of large public building management, managing contractors, and managing significant budgets. You will also have knowledge of project management and specification writing. Supervisory experience will also be useful. A full clean driving licence is essential.
Working hours will be 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.00pm on Friday. Flexibility required as and when necessary.
Lincroft Academy has an excellent reputation locally, and more widely across Bedfordshire and the neighbouring counties. The school continues to grow, with demand for places at an all-time high; the future is also exciting as we have recently joined a highly successful Multi Academy Trust and are planning further growth and a new building project.
