Myton School is a larger than average, popular, co-educational school where students of all abilities, aptitudes and social backgrounds thrive and achieve. Our community is based upon high expectations of learning and behaviour which are underpinned by our pastoral systems, ensuring all students are individually known and supported. We believe that all students should be equally valued in school and we pride ourselves on creating an atmosphere where every student can flourish.

Support for new colleagues is excellent at Myton. We have a well-established induction programme and we’re highly committed to the ongoing professional development of our entire staff. We support and value one another in contributing to a culture which is always seeking new ways to improve and develop.

We have a well-equipped school site with two main adjacent buildings and separate purpose-built facilities for PE, Design Technology, Science and English. We also have a specially designed Performing Arts Centre. Our extensive playing fields include two full-size football pitches, a floodlit astro-turf pitch and the John Atkinson Sports Hall.
