The St Marylebone CE School is seeking to appoint a Sixth Form Manager. This role contributes to the smooth and efficient running of Sixth Form. We are seeking a candidate who is highly organised, has attention to detail with strong admin and computer skills, ideally gained in a school environment. The ideal candidate will be able to use their own initiative, be proactive and work well within a team, have good interpersonal skills and experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders.


The Sixth Form Manager is responsible for Year 12 student admissions, the systems and processes which support student welfare, belonging and curriculum access.  The role provides administrative support to the Sixth Form Team. It has a direct impact on the welfare and experiences of students and the successful provision of the 6th Form offer.

Founded in 1791, The St Marylebone CE School is an outstanding comprehensive school for girls with a mixed sixth form, serving students of all faiths or no faith. St Marylebone takes pride in being a brilliant place to work and learn: rated consistently ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and SIAMS, the School is one of the best-performing state schools nationally.  We value highly the role of the arts and creativity in education, across the curriculum.  We lead the regional Maths Hub, the Creativity Collaborative for London and St Marylebone Outreach, through which we collaborate with other schools to develop the best in teaching and learning.  


The 6th Form is a dynamic and exciting place to work and learn, serving 330 students, a mixture of boys and girls, some who were previously St Marylebone Year 11s and others who join us in Year 12.  Every member of staff plays a role in making the Sixth Form a community in its own right, as well as promoting its connections with Key Stages 3 and 4.

The St Marylebone CE School is an all-girls secondary with co-educational sixth form in Westminster, central London. It is affiliated with the Church of England and designated a National Teaching School. Since 2011, St Marylebone has had academy status.

The secondary school is located next to St Marylebone Parish Church and is a short walk from Regent’s Park. The sixth-form facilities are based in nearby Blandford Street. St Marylebone was founded in 1791 and it carries the motto "An opportunity to excel". There are currently around 1,100 students, 300 of whom are in the sixth form.

The school has been a specialist arts college since 1998. It has since become a specialist school in mathematics and computing, and in special educational needs. This level of expertise has ensured St Marylebone is a model academic setting.
