The City of Liverpool College are looking to recruit a Skills Development Coach in Plumbing & Gas. This role is to join Liverpool’s leading provider of apprenticeships and to be able to assist in helping hundreds of people start their careers across a range of industries. Within our apprenticeship department the college supports students from Level 2 up to degree level apprenticeships.

As a Skills Development Coach you will be contracted to 35 hours per week which will include contact teaching time within a classroom/workshop and assessing time. You will also be required to travel to a range of employer premises.
Your responsibilities will be to inspire, motivate, coach and nurture future engineers within plumbing and gas industry. You will be required to support apprentices to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours in preparation for end point assessment.
Within the apprenticeship department, key strengths for employers:

Opened in 1992 after being formed from a number of colleges in the city we now have 5 locations situated in the heart of Liverpool. Currently the college serves more than a third of all 16-18 year olds in Liverpool, and educates almost 12,000 learners a year. In 2018 the college achieved a pass rate of 99.6% beating the national average of 97.6% for a-level results. Within this year as well we had a 100% pass rate in modern languages.
