You will be an enthusiastic and experienced leader with an understanding of vulnerable young people and will want the very best outcomes for all young people. You will have, or be willing to study for, the SENCo qualification.
We are looking for a strong leader and your background is less important than the skillset you can offer.

We have excellent facilities in a state-of-the-art building, situated in a pleasant location only 30 minutes to both Croydon and Brighton, by rail or car. Ifield Community College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in West Sussex serving students from the ages of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Crawley has approximately 1,020 students on role.
Ifield Community College was established in 1966, with a new school building opening in the centre of campus in 2005. The secondary school has a broad range of sporting faciltiies, including a fitness suite, tennis courts and a large playing field.

Ifield Community College’s vision is for pupils to achieve to the highest of their abilities and excel in all that they do. This Crawley secondary school works to create an enriching curriculum and opportunities that extend beyond the classroom through a wide range of enrichment activities. These range from sports clubs to drama class, while educational trips are organised to further pupils understanding, experience and interests. These have included visits to Venice, the Imperial War Museum, Ypres 'Battlefields' and The Hawth Theatre.
