The Campus
OneSchool Global Ridgeway Campus is a bespoke campus located in Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire. Our campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology, ensuring that both online and face-to-face classes are catered for outstandingly. Our learning areas are thoughtfully designed to inspire innovation and create a future-ready environment for all students. We take pride in our small school atmosphere, providing personalised attention to our 205 students from Year 3 to Year 12.
The Position
Commencing as soon as possible, our welcoming Ridgeway team are seeking a Specialist Teacher – PDA and Autism to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will assist and support identified students on the SEND register by planning and preparing specialist bespoke provision, assessing pupil progress and providing differentiation guidance for the class teachers. You must have extensive experience of working with children with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and experience of working with children and young adults at Key Stage 1-5. You will need a relevant degree in Psychology or Autism and have evidence of further training in autism – specific interventions and strategies.

The start of the new school year sees our transition from the Victorian school in Cottingham to a new 40,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility in Scunthorpe. This excellent facility provides a technology-rich learning environment to assist our self-directed students from Y3 – Y13 to excel at the broad range of national curriculum subjects available.
