We are currently seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with students to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic support for those with speech, language, and communication difficulties, helping them to achieve their full potential.
The role involves:
- Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
- Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans for individual students.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and parents to support students’ progress.
- Providing advice and training to staff on strategies to support students with speech and language needs in the classroom.
- Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary adjustments.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (e.g., a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and is HCPC recognised).
- Is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Has experience working with children, preferably within an educational setting.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has a passion for supporting students with diverse communication needs and a commitment to inclusive education.
- This is a Part-Time Vacancy - 2-2.5 days per week - days negotiable.
