Haileybury is seeking to appoint a number of Sports Fellows to join our co-curricular team for the next academic year.
Sport is integral to life at Haileybury and we encourage sporting excellence on both an individual and a team level. At the same time, we strongly foster a “sport for all” mentality throughout the School and all our pupils participate in our sporting curriculum.
We have a history of producing players who go to perform at an elite level, and currently have 70 representative players within the current pupil body, including several at international age group level in: England Rugby, England Hockey, England Lacrosse, England Netball and England Schools Cricket.
The primary responsibility of the post holder will be to support the delivery of the sports and co-curriculum programmes. The role will suit a new graduate with an interest in entering the teaching profession or someone who is looking for one year’s professional experience before following a career outside education.
The successful applicant will have a degree in any subject, and have a passion for, and a high ability in either, hockey, rugby, cricket, netball or strength and conditioning.
Please see the candidate brief for further information.

Haileybury offers a world of opportunity for talented girls and boys who wish to contribute fully to our happy and purposeful community. “We provide a holistic education that balances academic achievement with the development of character, resilience and leadership”
We are academically selective and we expect our pupils to achieve excellent results in public examinations. Most of our pupils take up places at the best universities in the UK and around the world. In addition to providing intellectual rigour and challenge, we provide a holistic education that balances academic achievement with the development of character, resilience and leadership. All of our boys and girls are strongly encouraged to take full advantage of the widest range of co-curricular activities on offer at Haileybury. Participation in these activities stretches the pupils; it promotes a sense of social responsibility, enhances team spirit and engenders confidence.
The bedrock of a Haileybury education is outstanding pastoral care. A nurturing environment and spiritual encouragement underpin all of our endeavours and help shape the distinctive characteristics of Haileyburians.
Our goal is for our young men and women to leave Haileybury fully equipped with the life skills and the academic credentials necessary for them to flourish in a competitive global employment market.
