St Joseph's College Coomera is a Brisbane Catholic Education master planned co-educational College that opened in January 2019. Our first Seniors will graduate in 2024. The College is located in Coomera on the Northern Gold Coast, 40 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD.

We are seeking two (2) Secretary/ Administration Officers for our Early Junior Years, Middle Senior Years Student Receptions and Sick Bay from January 2023. 


You will work as part of a collaborative team providing services to parents, students, school staff and the wider school community. 

Typical duties will include:

  • Telephone and email management,
  • Administration of filing and online management systems (eMinerva),
  • Assisting School Leadership with various administration tasks,
  • Assisting with organisation of school events and activities, and
  • Creating weekly school newsletters and sick bay/first aid duties, and other duties as required.

 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Previous administration experience,
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills, and
  • Display proven communication and interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task. 
  • A First Aid certificate is required for these roles (or ability to attain one).

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Commencing January 2023

Position tenure:  Continuing

Weeks worked:  School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

Tenure duration (where Fixed Term)

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 7.6 hours per day, 8.00am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $30.97 per hour
