About the School

Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi will be a UK curriculum day school enrolling students from Early Years to Year 13 in the city’s prestigious residential district Al Reem Island. Our new school will have the capacity for 2,600 students upon completion. Its first phase of development, which opened in September 2023, included the Early Years building and sports facilities, while the second phase opening in Summer 2024 will include the main Primary and Secondary classrooms.

About the Role

Student Support Assistants play a crucial role in supporting the inclusion of pupils with additional educational needs in the school community.

Student Support Assistants will normally work with an individual student, supporting them to overcome barriers to learning (for example, those with English language difficulties, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties or other academic educational needs).  

The aim of the role is to help the pupil to learn as effectively as possible both in group and individual situations, inside and outside of the classroom. In conjunction with Class Teachers, Student Support Assistants assist in the development and delivery of a suitable programme of support both within the classroom and on a one-to-one basis.

Selection Process

Applicants should apply online and submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be your current Line Manager.
