Pay Range 3 (£27,310 - £29,295 FTE/ Actual Salary £14,648 for 24 hours per week, 38 week per year.
Our Student Support Officers are central to our pastoral care; this is a great opportunity to make a really significant positive difference in the lives of many young people. The role provides first line support and mentoring to students on all aspects of their pastoral issues, assists in the implementation of school policies including behaviour, provides some support for special educational needs and also aspects of administration for the pastoral team. The postholder will work in a highly supportive, friendly and capable pastoral team, with girls who are a real privilege and joy to work with.
The successful candidate will be caring, compassionate and have a professional disposition. They will have some experience with secondary school age students, will be an excellent communicator, a good administrator and an upbeat and collaborative team player.
