Tapton is an Outstanding, happy and oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school standing in pleasant grounds, very close to the Peak District.

Psychology maintains consistently high student outcomes with A level performance achieving 41.4% A*A in 2018. We routinely achieve an L3VA score which indicates that every student who completes Key Stage 5 achieves 0.16 of a grade higher than their GCSE grades would predict.
You will need to be able to:
Demonstrate and deliver excellent teaching
Be able to work under pressure within a strong team focused towards challenging goals
Have the ability to teach Psychology at KS5
Have excellent organisational and communication skills
Share in our vision for realising the life chances and dreams of every child
