Job overview
We are looking for two English Teachers to teach at our school from Term 1, 2024 (29 January 2024).
We shall consider graduates from Australian universities with English as a major in their degree. We can also consider higher education degrees but we are interested in candidates with experience/passion for teaching English with 3 or more years of education in Australia.
We can offer part-time or full-time employment with mutual agreement.

In 2015 Taqwa School opened its doors as the first Islamic school in North Canberra for families who require an academic inclusive and forward-thinking learning environment for their children. Facilities
Over the years we have transformed this beloved institution from a rented space with just 33 students in 2015 into a well-developed school complex with over 230 students in 2023. The school currently takes admission for Kindergarten up until year six and preparations have been made for expansion up to year 10 by 2026.The construction of year 7 and 8 building has been completed, and Insha'Allah we will start year 7 & 8 classes in January, 2024.
In 2025, we intend to start Year 9 and 10 classes. The master plan of Taqwa school includes high-end facilities such as science laboratories, multi-purpose hall, a full-size soccer field, tennis and basketball courts, and a professional swimming pool to provide the best learning experience for our students.
