The job

As a Substitute Class Teacher at the International School Eindhoven, you are responsible for meeting the needs of all students and you will be leading committees to support the organization of school events. Furthermore, you will be working with students with many different social, emotional and educational needs, who do not speak English as their first language.

What can you expect from us?

  • Friendly and supportive staff, and wonderful students who are eager to learn;
  • A part time temporary appointment until the end of the school year 2023;
  • Grading scale takes place in LB (min. €3001,- max €4573,- at a fulltime position);
  • Good benefits such as 8,33% end of year bonus;
  • The current collective agreement for primary education (CAO PO) is applicable for this role.

This is what we ask of you

  • Eligible to work in the EU;
  • A fluent English speaker;
  • A fully qualified primary teacher;
  • Previous experience working as a teacher (preferably 2 years or more);
  • Previous experience working with students coming from different cultural backgrounds;
  • Being flexible and open to new ideas;
  • Being patient and well-organized;
  • Being energetic, responsible and able to work effectively within a team.
