Job overview

Tes is supporting the appointment of a Supply Teacher - EYFS to KS2 to join a High School based in Greenwich.

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and passionate Supply Teacher to play a key role supporting a thriving and successful school.

Working in their Junior School, you’ll be playing a major part in the highly regarded education they give their girls, covering the range of year groups from EYFS to KS2.

You will contribute to providing an excellent education for all the school’s pupils by teaching with expertise and enthusiasm, offering support to the learning of individual students and contributing to the school’s pastoral system.

Your main responsibilities will involve covering classes throughout the day and establishing a strong rapport with pupils to ensure they succeed, whilst following school policies and procedures.

The ability to teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum is essential.

About the School

The High School is a selective school for girls aged 3–18 and was rated “excellent” in their most recent ISI Inspection. They are fortunate to be located on the edge of the stunning Heath and within easy reach of historic Greenwich and Canary Wharf. Following an £18 million investment, their brand new Senior School has been redeveloped to provide state-of-the-art facilities to ensure that their school environment matches the excellent standard of education they provide.

There are many good reasons to work with them. The High School has a real sense of community, and you’ll be part of it.

They also offer a variety of benefits, such as:

  • Competitive salaries and pay progression
  • Access to extensive professional development opportunities
  • Training grants for qualifications
  • Generous pension schemes
  • Free life assurance benefit
  • A discount of up to 50% on fees for children
