The Minster School, Southwell and other Schools across the Trust as required.

Minster Trust for Education is a multi-academy trust of 7 outstanding and good schools (primary and secondary) located in Nottinghamshire. The Trust provides high quality school improvement, business and governance services through a team of professionals deployed into schools from its central offices in Eakring.

We are looking to appoint a temporary member of staff to support the education of Ukrainian students attending the family of primary and secondary schools in and around the town of Southwell. This family of schools includes:
• The Minster School
• Holy Trinity CofE Infant School
• Lowe’s Wong Infant School
• Lowe’s Wong Anglican Methodist Junior School
• Kirklington Primary School
• Bleasby CofE Primary School
• Halam CofE Primary School
• Farnsfield St Michael’s CofE Primary School
The main purpose of this role is to support Ukrainian pupils/students in accessing the school curriculum. This will be through a combination of activity that could include:
• In-class support
• English language learning and development
• Additional sessions outside lessons – curriculum access support
• Online sessions
Opportunities may also arise to support family – school liaison.
We are seeking an individual with fluent language skills in both Ukrainian and English. Experience of working in education and with young people to support their learning would be of significant benefit. The ability to plan learning activities and work safely with individuals and small groups is essential. Good interpersonal skills will enable effective liaison with staff in individual schools to make sure relevant activity is undertaken.
