We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher of art, design & technology to join our successful, growing, and vibrant art, design and technology department.

The teaching of art, design and technology is a real strength of the school. Students love the subject and do extremely well.
The candidate should have the ability to deliver art and design technology at KS3, and ideally have experience of teaching art or food and nutrition at GCSE level.

About Netherhall School
Netherhall School is a grant maintained, Local Authority, mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form, situated in Maryport, Cumbria. The school achieved its first ever rating of ‘Good’ from Ofsted in 2018, was named Cumbrian Secondary School of the Year later the same year, is host to the Cumbrian Secondary School Teacher of the Year and Cumbrian Secondary School Student of the Year. The school has a rapidly rising intake and the sixth form has over doubled in size in the past few years, with 720 students of age 11-18 currently on roll.
