Our three free schools champion a unique approach and we believe we offer an exciting educational alternative in the Ixworth, Saxmundham and Beccles areas of Suffolk. Suffolk is a beautiful county and this relatively new school has undergone an exciting recent refurbishment.

Do you believe in traditional values of respect, kindness, developing strong subject knowledge and knowing each student as an individual? If so, Ixworth Free School is for you.

We are a growing 11 - 16 school on track to be at least 'Good' in our next inspection. Our 2017 GCSE results placed us 8th in Suffolk; headlines include:

* A Progress 8 score of +0.45
* 71% of students achieving at least a Grade 4 in English and mathematics.

Ixworth Free School is part of the Seckford Foundation Free Schools Trust, a MAT with three established schools in Suffolk. The trust vision and ethos is designed to develop a lifelong love of learning in all our students and to challenge them to achieve their potential. With us you will be able to enhance the educational experiences of students at Ixworth Free School.

We are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Boys' PE who has experience in teaching up to GCSE level. We would welcome candidates who have the potential to be a Head of Department.
