Queen Elizabeth’s is a co-educational selective academy with 554 pupils on roll, including 142 in the sixth form.
This is a friendly school community with high expectations. We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Business Studies from September 2018. With Business and Enterprise as our specialism, Business Studies is taught in Y7 and all students take GCSE Business Studies. Foundation Technical Level in Business Marketing, Business Studies and Economics are offered at A Level and about 70% of students follow a business-related course in the sixth form. In a subject inspection in 2010, the school was graded Outstanding in all areas.
The successful candidate will:
- Be suitably qualified to teach Business Studies and Economics to A Level
- Be passionate about the subject and take a leading role in making links with local business and embedding enterprise within the curriculum
- Be willing and able to teach a second subject if the need arose
- Enjoy working with some very able students

Queen Elizabeth's Grammar, Alford is a co-educational, selective secondary academy based in Lincolnshire, educating students aged 11-18.

"Pupils' personal development is outstanding. They have exemplary attitudes to their learning. Their behaviour and attendance are excellent. They show respect for each other and have very well developed social skills. This is seen in their willingness to make a contribution to the school through the numerous opportunities to take responsibility and to organise activities. Sixth form students are very strongly involved in the rest of the school and provide impressive examples for others. There is a very strong sense of community in the school."
