Teacher of Chemistry

Concord College is England’s premier co-educational boarding school set in the heart of the Shropshire countryside with 577 students aged 13-19. Academic achievement at Concord College has been described as ‘exceptional’ (ISI 2013). Over the last two academic years, students have achieved an average of 82% A*/A at GCSE and 80% A*/A at A level. We are also delighted that over 80 students have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge between 2015 and 2018.

We wish to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic full-time Teacher of Chemistry from September 2018.

Applicants should be capable of teaching to A level and be confident supporting Oxbridge candidates. The ability to teach another subject may be an advantage. A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the college is expected.
