The school seeks a dedicated Computer Science/Information Technology Teacher to join our teaching team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching pupils, open-minded, creative and enjoys colleagues. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who:
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance pupil learning and engagement.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
- Have experience in teaching learners with English as a second language.
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other staff to ensure the holistic well-being of pupils.
- Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Have a strong commitment to co-curricular activities.
- Have the ability of teach a second subject would be an advantage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience working in a British international school.
- Have a good knowledge of the Cambridge or National Curriculum of England for Computer Science/Information Technology in Key Stages Two and Three. Experience with other curricula would be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A growth mindset and a commitment to lifelong learning.
