High Storrs is a high-performing 11-18 secondary school on the Southwestern outskirts of Sheffield that has benefitted from a £27m refurbishment of our Grade II listed building. Serving a multi-cultural learning community with high expectations and high aspirations, we are an over-subscribed school.

 

We are seeking to appoint a committed and reflective practitioner to teach A level Economics and GCSE Business Studies. Being able to also offer a small amount of Y7-9 computing/ICT is an advantage. The successful candidate will work with the Subject Leaders of Business and Computing to maximise success for all students. You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of curriculum and pedagogy, able to teach confidently across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5. 


Candidates may wish to consider applying for the Teacher of Computing/ICT (Temporary, 0.4fte), year 7 to year 9 (with a small amount of year 9 Business) which could supplement this role from January to July of 2025.

 

The timetable requirements for this role may mean that teaching may be spread over 4 days, and we cannot guarantee 3 full days, although where possible this will try to be accommodated.
