The Role:

We are looking for a talented and dedicated teacher to join our committed and successful English team. Our English department goes from strength to strength with outcomes increasing year on year as a result of excellent teaching and leadership, an inspiring curriculum and high levels of student engagement. Our shared expectations are high and students value the subject meaning they enjoy their learning; they make us proud every day.

We are keen to hear from excellent teachers, passionate about their subject and who can clearly see why it has an important part to play in the curriculum. The length of your experience as a teacher is less important to us than your ability to motivate and inspire.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly ambitious team of staff and make a real impact on our students’ lives. The successful candidate will have the chance to teach across the full age and ability range up to A level. Welling School is easily accessible from London, Kent and surrounding areas. Our staff enjoy a two week October half term and excellent weekly teacher development. We are very open to recruiting newly qualified staff in the summer term meaning you will be paid over the summer holidays.
