About Our School:

At Wardle Academy our mission is simple; we believe that the young people in our care should receive an education that promotes lifelong learning. We also believe in supporting our pupils so that they contribute much to society. Both elements are equally important.

The habits that enable everyone in our community to engage with our mission are held in the Wardle Way, a set of principles that we hold dear…

Wellbeing, Ambition, Respect, Diversity, Leadership, Empathy

At Wardle Academy, we are committed to ensuring that students are fully prepared for transitions throughout their learning; students have an entitlement to extend their learning beyond the academy day; students’ learning is underpinned by the Wardle Way in order to develop rounded, tolerant and aspirational members of the academy and the wider community.

Through the Personal Development Learning Journey, we are able to empower students with knowledge and skills that have both practical and intrinsic value which are embodied by ‘The Wardle Way Student’.

Wardle Academy is proud of its extensive enrichment opportunities that are offered to its students. School life is not just about academic achievement. We believe that by providing access to a wide range of sporting, academic and artistic extra-curricular activities, students are nurtured to success, both academically and pastorally.
