About Aiglon College
For over 70 years, Aiglon College has offered students a holistic and inspirational experience that pushes the boundaries of traditional education. John Corlette founded the school in 1949 on a distinctive ethos: the balanced development of mind, body, and spirit.
The school, nestled at 1,200 metres in the Swiss Alps, is home to over 460 students, from 7-18 years old, representing more than 60 different nationalities. From junior through to senior school, students benefit from all the advantages of an international boarding environment. They form lasting bonds with each other and with excellent educators who guide them towards academic and personal success. Aiglon considers intercultural education to be foundational elements of its school culture, values, practices and preparations for life.
Aiglon staff are enthusiastic, experienced, committed, reflective, dynamic and willing to try new ideas. They have varied and diverse interests and passions that are evident both in and out of the classroom setting. The school fosters a collaborative, open-minded, dynamic, intellectually curious and purpose-driven work culture.
Aiglon’s remarkable national and cultural diversity is an inspiring example of how, on a small scale, we are able to build a harmonious and fulfilled community.
