Springfield School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school in Hampshire serving students from the age of 11-16. The secondary school, situated in Portsmouth has approximately 1,105 students on record. Springfield School is a member of the Portsmouth Teaching School Alliance with other schools in the local area, ranging from nurseries to universities. 

Ofsted judged the school to be good and improving in February 2016.

Springfield School’s vision is to provide a stimulating and meaningful curriculum which will help nurture students as responsible citizens who will contribute positively to society. It wishes for all students to develop an enjoyment for learning and a desire to succeed. It works to encourage all students to reach their potential in all aspects of school life, recognising that individuals have different learning styles. Students are encouraged to get involved in extra-curricular activities to expand their opportunities and experiences outside of the classroom - including personal development programmes such as PSHE, where students learn the importance of democracy and respect in a diverse multi-cultural society. Trips and sports clubs are also organised, along with music lessons and the opportunity to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
