Location: Poole Dorset, BH15 4BQ                            

Salary: Competitive United Learning Pay Scale (ECT, PT or EPT – depending on experience)

Hours: Full time (37.5hrs)

 

We are looking for an outstanding female PE Teacher and have an opportunity to join a dedicated, supportive and professional PE department.  This role is equally suitable for experienced teachers of PE or an ECT looking to start their teaching career in a great school and fantastic location. If so, come and join our community.

 

As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching high-quality lessons to students in KS3 and 4, including delivery of Cambridge National Sports Studies.

 

You will be playing a key role in a PE department where a real emphasis is placed on the quality and inclusivity of PE teaching and learning across the years. The role is to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and deliver differentiated learning to enable all students to achieve their very best.

 

Reason for Seeking a Female P.E. Teacher

This role specifically requires a female P.E. teacher in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010, which permits Genuine Occupational Requirements (GOR) under certain conditions. The role includes:

  • Monitoring changing facilities where female students require privacy
  • Teaching Girls PE including netball 

This is to ensure the privacy, security, and well-being of our female students during physical education activities.
