We are looking for a well-qualified, energetic and enthusiastic colleague to join our ambitious and highly skilled History department. You will need to have the knowledge, skills and creativity to be an outstanding teacher and the ability to teach your specialism to GCSE and A level.
If you have a focus on raising student attainment, a passion for History and are looking to work in an environment that values the learning of students we would welcome an application from you.
Main duties and responsibilities
● Working within the History department to contribute to raising student achievement and the continued development of the department.
● Teach the History curriculum across the ability range to years 7-13
● Teaching the History GCSE course at key stage 4, and potentially key stage 5
● Contribute to enrichment and intervention supports within the History department
● Applications from NQTs and experienced staff will be equally valued.
