Job overview
We want all our students to be global citizens and so we are recruiting an additional enthusiastic Teacher of MFL to bring even more ideas and energy to our department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4. Full time and part time hours are available.
At The Bourne Academy, students study Spanish and French. You will need to be expert at teaching Spanish to KS4 and be able to support French.
Teaching and learning is high on the agenda at The Bourne Academy and staff are actively encouraged to constantly develop, experiment and reflect on their practice. The MLF department is supported by an experienced Subject Lead which is key if you are an early careers teacher.
We welcome students of all abilities and from all backgrounds. We are an Academy in the heart of the community and so we take the time to get to know and understand each student, supporting them to do their very best. We believe that everyone is a learner and everyone is a teacher.
