About Pontefract Academies Trust
Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi-Academy Trust comprising of nine schools: seven primaries and two 11-16 secondary schools. About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and inspirational Maths teacher to join our dedicated team. We are looking for someone with a 'can-do' attitude and a passion for doing whatever it takes to ensure our students receive the best possible education. Beyond that, we are looking for an individual who demonstrates the potential to excel in their role.
The candidate will be responsible for securing strong outcomes for students through, as well as demonstrating high quality teaching to ensure students make accelerated progress. The candidate will plan work in accordance with the Trust’s schemes of work and uphold the highest standards of learning and achievement for all students.
This opportunity is equally exciting for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher, providing the chance to become a valued member of a talented and supportive team.
You will be integral to delivering on our vision of providing a first-class education to all students, so that they make outstanding progress and get the chances in life they deserve.
Maths department

This is a 1 FTE, permanent contract with a start date of January 2025.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:
- has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential.
- has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and students.
- can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative
- has experience of working in a similar specialist area
