We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a qualified teacher able to teach Mathematics to students in Years 7-11 (the ability to teach A level Mathematics, would be an advantage but is not essential). This position is available as a full time or part time (0.6) position.
Rugby High School is a girls’ grammar school that is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. All of our students are expected to pass GCSE Mathematics at the end of KS4 with well over 50% achieving grades 8/9. In 2023, we achieved a progress 8 score of 0.78. A large number choose to continue to study Mathematics to A Level. Over 50% of our students gain places at Russell Group Universities.
We welcome applications from teachers at all stages in their career including those returning to teaching and ECTs. We offer a full induction programme, extensive professional development opportunities and a rich menu of extra-curricular activities.
Over the past 4 years Rugby High School has been as challenged as any school, but the mutual care, kindness and respect we show each other as colleagues, and our students have ensured that it has remained a warm, welcoming and supportive place to work. Our students have been amazing throughout, and we would be very pleased to welcome a new colleague who wanted to nurture the curiosity and joy of learning in our whole school community.
