Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to join our successful department. This is an ideal opportunity to develop your skills and expertise and flourish as a teacher in a supportive learning environment. It is essential that applicants can teach KS3 and KS4, while KS5 is desirable. This is a full time position offered on a one year fixed term contract starting in January, and is open to experienced teachers. Previous applicants need not apply.
We are looking for someone who can deliver inspirational lessons, is willing to support students outside of the classroom, is organised and who will contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school.
We require someone with a strong commitment to teaching and learning as well as a creative and positive approach both in and out of the classroom. If you are an exceptional teacher, who can enthuse students with your own passion for learning, then we would love to hear from you.

Maria Fidelis is focused on its Roman Catholic faith but we are also a diverse school community in terms of both staff and pupils and therefore welcome applications from anyone who supports our ethos. The school first started in 1830 serving the local Catholic community under the founder of the Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ), sisters who continue to work with the school to this day. Much like other schools associated with the FCJ, Maria Fidelis is a school that promises academic excellence. The hope and expectation of the school is that students grow into the best people they can, using their talents to help others.
