The Trustees wish to appoint an outstanding individual to join our Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Department from September as we move from being a ‘Good’ to ‘Great’ school for our students and wider community. Our school is growing and with the addition of another class, will again be oversubscribed in September 2019.
Applications from NQTs are welcomed, however a TLR2b Head of House position could be available for an experienced colleague.
We are an ambitious, friendly, rural Secondary (11-16) School on the edge of the New Forest in Wiltshire with talented staff and motivated students and a strong family atmosphere.
As our Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, you will:
- Have the ability to teach Spanish and French across KS3 and KS4

- Have excellent interpersonal skills and subject knowledge to inspire our students

Our MFL Department team currently consists of an experienced Head of Department, and two experienced teachers. Students are highly motivated and engaged with MFL and achieve well.
You should note that The Trafalgar School is a founding partner of a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) with a growing partnership of other schools, known as the Magna Learning Partnership. To all new staff joining any of the schools, this may afford the exciting opportunity to work in more than one school as the need arises.
