We are looking to appoint a teacher of PE who is looking for a new challenge and is willing to join an innovative and forward-thinking department. In line with our ethos of ‘We Cooperate We Pioneer We Belong’, the ideal candidate must have a real passion for PE and Sport and be equipped with the skills to maximise outcomes for students at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Our ambitious PE curriculum is currently taught three times over a two-week timetable, and we offer OCR Sport Science at Key Stage 4, along with a Sports Leaders qualification which students can opt to complete as part of their Core PE allocation. The Sport Science course is becoming increasingly popular with our students, and we are looking for someone with the drive and passion to ensure students make excellent progress with clear monitoring and evaluation of processes and standards and continue to increase the subject popularity through the mapping, sequencing, and execution of our KS3 curriculum model.

The PE Department at Kingsway Park High School is a supportive department that is well resourced with a double sports hall, main hall with climbing wall, a full size 4G pitch, 400m athletics track and field space. There is a work area for staff within the department which allows the team to work cohesively.
