Applications are now welcome for a Teacher of Physical Education to join our School from January 2025. This is an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated professional to teach Physical Education within a dedicated and innovative department. This post would be ideally suited to a passionate individual with a love of teaching and a desire to immerse themselves into the life of the school. Working with our experienced Department, the successful candidate can expect to teach across the full range of ages and abilities, whilst developing their own individual role within a very supportive environment.

This post would be suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs. We welcome all round applicants, however, the ability to coach and lead gymnastics would be preferable. Gymnastics is a highly achieving area at RMS with teams from year 3-13 who regularly place top 10 Nationally.

We are situated in stunning grounds of over 300 acres, with keen students and a large staff body. The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent school located on a 316-acre site in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Providing places to both boarding and day pupils, the school is an all-through institution educating pupils aged 2-18. 

Founded in 1789, the school was originally intended for use by the children of Freemasons. It is now non-denominational and has no restrictions on attendance. As an academically selective institution, the school require potential applicants to undergo formal or informal assessment before a place is offered.
