Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Physical Education to join a High School for Girls based in Norfolk.
The High School is looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring and well qualified teacher of Physical Education to join them from November 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and inspiring teacher to join their experienced and dynamic department.
You will possess excellent subject knowledge and be able to contribute to teaching and activities across the Prep and Senior Schools. The ability to coach and lead teams in hockey, netball and cricket, as well as to support the wider work of the department to encourage both participation and the pursuit of sporting excellence for the girls, is an essential requirement.
Due to an extensive midweek fixture programme in both the Prep and Senior schools, a strong commitment to co-curricular activities is also vital. For the right candidate there may be an opportunity to lead on their careers curriculum as a maternity cover.
About the High School
The High School was founded in 1875 and is an independent day school for girls from 3-18 with approximately 600 pupils. It is at the forefront of education for girls and a strong voice in promoting opportunities for young women.
