Teacher of Physics (IGCSE and A-level)

Dipont Education is seeking a teacher of Physics (IGCSE and A-level) to join our high school program at Wuxi N. 1 high school, a highly-reputed school in Jiangsu Province.

We are seeking a candidate with experience teaching Physics at High School level to join our dynamic team. Your role would involve teaching Physics at IGCSE and A-Level to Chinese students on the international program. The language of instruction is English. Experience teaching Physics at A-Level or IGCSE is preferred but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high quality lessons in your subject area
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and practices within the Science department
• Uphold the values of the school and professional standards set by Dipont at all times.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably in Physics
• A recognized teaching license
• At least 2 years experience teaching high school students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (preferred by not required)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Background

The high school program was founded in 2005 and currently has four form entries with a total of 450 students between the ages of 15 to 18. We offer CIE IGSCE and GCE A-level courses in English, Maths, Further Maths, Economics, Chemistry, Physics, and Global Perspectives.
