About the School
Leading Independent school based in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire.
Our Thorpians have gone on to be leaders, entrepreneurs, scholars, athletes and artists, to name but a few. Whatever the future holds for our boys aged 4-16, we support, challenge and empower each unique individual to explore their passions, develop their talents and fulfil their ambition.
Our unwavering commitment to superior pastoral care is embedded in the school ethos, emphasising the significance of treating each boy with a sense of security, ensuring they feel integral to the broader school community. This approach not only fosters a conducive learning environment but also cultivates independence of thought. A pivotal element in achieving this commitment is our small class sizes.
These intentionally crafted settings empower teachers with the time and energy to establish profound connections with the students. This fosters a climate of confidence, enabling the students to openly approach staff with any concerns they may encounter.
From September 2024 we will be opening a brand new co-educational Sixth Form in the heart of Gerrards Cross, offering young men and women first class teaching with an emphasis on academic achievement, the development of key life skills, leadership and exploration, extended pastoral care, and bespoke university and careers guidance.
